Who is considered a child?

A child is any born, unmarried person under the age of 18 years who has not been emancipated by order of the court.

Who is considered a vulnerable adult?

A vulnerable adult is a person who is 60 years or older whose ability to perform the normal activities of daily living or to provide his or her own care or protection is impaired due to the infirmities of aging, or a person who is 18 years or older whose ability to perform the normal activities of daily living or to provider for his or her own care or protection is impaired due to disability or brain damage.
